Ingredients: a different take on breakfast

  • 10 g. chopped onion
  • 20 g. dried beef bresola
  • 20 g. mushroom
  • 2 pc. toast bread (can use any bread , i used sesamy seed brown bread )
  • 20 g. shreaded mozzarella
  • 1 egg
  • olive oil , salt , pepper
  • 2 pc. hash brown
  • spring onion , cherry tomato , baby spinach
  • arabic roka , or rukola

How to Make a different take on breakfast

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 14 steps you must follow to make a different take on breakfast in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a hot skillet add a bit of olive oil and the chopped onions
  • Step 2
  • Chop up the bresola (can use other dried/smoked beef , pork or lamb ) and the mushrooms
  • Step 3
  • When the onions become golden brown add the bresola and mushrooms
  • Step 4
  • While the filling is cooking take a round cutter and cut out the middle of the bread
  • Step 5
  • Put one peace of the bread in a round backong mold (can be mettal ,or silicon) , and put a bit of the shredded mozzarella on top
  • Step 6
  • On top of the cheese add the filling , and sprinckle the rest of the cheese on it.
  • Step 7
  • Close it up with the second peace of bread , and put in the oven at 180'c for 5 min.
  • Step 8
  • In the mean time make a sunny side up egg , and put the spring onion on top (before the eggwhite cooks compleatly).
  • Step 9
  • Cook the hash brown (deepfry , or just pen fry with a bit of oil)
  • Step 10
  • Take out the mold from the oven , and carfully empty on the middle of the plate
  • Step 11
  • Put the egg on top , and hash brown on one side
  • Step 12
  • Mix the roka with sone olive oil and put on the opposite side
  • Step 13
  • Decorate the plate with sone baby spinach and cherry tomatos
  • Step 14
  • NOTE : if you like it spicy add some chopped chilli ; you can use chedder or brie depending on witch cheese you like ; dont add to much salt , as the beef should alredy have a lot .
