  • 2 tbsp Mustard oil
  • 1 medium Onion, Sliced
  • 1 Dried red chilli
  • 2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Poppy seeds
  • 1/3 tsp Jeera (cumin) powder

    Step 1
  • Heat oil in pan.add red chilli to it.sauté sliced onions in the oil till light brown.
  • Step 2
  • Add potatoes to the pan.add turmeric powder & salt to it,mix it & cover the lid for 15min.
  • Step 3
  • Uncover the lid & add jeera powder,chilli powder,poppy seeds to the potatoes.stir-fry for 2 minutes & then serve hot.
