  • Potato Stuffing
  • 2 Potatoes big size
  • 1 Chopped Onion
  • 1 tsp Chopped Ginger
  • 2 tsp Chopped Green Chilli
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Dried Mango powder or Indian Chat masala
  • 1 Salt as needed
  • pinch Afoesida
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 Wheat flour for rolling the Paranttha
  • Dough
  • 2 cup Wheat Flour
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • Salt
  • 1 Water for knead flour

How to Make Aalu Paranttha (potato stuff brush fried bread)

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 15 steps you must follow to make Aalu Paranttha (potato stuff brush fried bread) in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Take a big bowl.. Take wheat flour.. Add oil n salt.. Mix well.. Gradually add lil water n make a semi tight dough.. As u can handle in stuffing. Keep aside.
  • Step 2
  • Boil potatoes in pressure cooker with 3-4 whistle. Off gas.. Keep for cooling.
  • Step 3
  • Open the lid n take out potatoes.. Peel them.. Mash with fork.... Be careful it's hot.. Don't use hand now.
  • Step 4
  • Now add all spices except oil for frying.... in mashed potatoes n now mash with hand.. Make a smooth dough.
  • Step 5
  • Now divide potato dough into 8 small balls.
  • Step 6
  • Divide wheat flour dough into 8 small balls too..
  • Step 7
  • Now take a flour ball n flat with rolling pin.. Small size. With dusting flour.
  • Step 8
  • Now u made a small flat bread.. Take it in your palm n stuff with potato ball.. Close it with gently with fingers n hand.
  • Step 9
  • Now again dust some flour n with rolling pin make a big circle shape bread.
  • Step 10
  • Meanwhile when u r making bread.. Heat ur non stick flat open pan. It should heat fully.
  • Step 11
  • Now replace ur potato stuff bread on pan.
  • Step 12
  • Toss for two minutes.. Flip another side... Now apply vegetable oil all over the bread with brush or spoon.
  • Step 13
  • Again flip the bread.. This side again apply oil.... Fry both sides equally..
  • Step 14
  • Whole process take 5-6. If ur pan heated well... Otherwise it take more time n Paranttha ll be hard.
  • Step 15
  • Now its done.. Make all Paranttha likewise. Enjoy with Indian Chutny or sauce or pickle..
