  • 1 tsp organic butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 500 grams lean minced beef
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp ground coriander
  • 2 tbsp plain flour
  • 300 ml beef stock
  • 400 grams chopped tomatoes
  • 200 grams mixed beans
  • 3 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 tsp caster sugar
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 pinch black sea salt
  • 3/4 medium sweet pepper, diced
  • 1 large carrot, diced

How to Make All In! Chilli Con Carne - mild

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make All In! Chilli Con Carne - mild in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Mix together the olive oil and butter.
  • Step 2
  • Break up the mince and stir in the pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Step 3
  • Add the oily butter to a hot pan. Add the onion, minced beef, sweet pepper and carrot. Fry for about 5mins.
  • Step 4
  • Add the garlic, chilli powder, cumin and coriander. Stir and fry for a few mins.sprinkle over the flour and stir well.
  • Step 5
  • Stir in the stock. Tip in the tomatoes, tomato puree, mixed beans, caster sugar, oregano and bay leaf. Stir well.
  • Step 6
  • Cover loosely with a lid. Reduce the heat and leave to simmer for about 45minutes until the sauce has thickened. Season to taste and serve!
