  • 1 1/2 bunches Spinach
  • 1/2 can Whole canned tomatoes
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 stalks Celery
  • 2 pieces Ginger
  • 1 dash Salt
  • 1 tsp Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp Vegetable bouillon granules
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 200 ml Water (soy milk)

How to Make All-Purpose Spinach Paste

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make All-Purpose Spinach Paste in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Mince the onion, celery, and ginger. Microwave the onion for 5 minutes. After the onion has heated, sauté all the vegetables in olive oil.
  • Step 2
  • Boil the spinach and then roughly chop into pieces.
  • Step 3
  • Add the water (or soy milk), tomato, spinach, and cooked onion, in that order, to a blender and blend until a paste is formed. Use a blender if possible.
  • Step 4
  • Return everything to a pot and add the salt and sugar. Simmer for just a short time and it's all done.
  • Step 5
  • Serve with brown rice and garnish with some extra cooked onion and celery.
