  • 2 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 cup whipping cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp (I add a little extra) almond extract
  • 1 *optional* garnish- chocolate curls and/or raspberries

How to Make Almond Cream

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Almond Cream in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a saucepan sprinkle gelatin over water. Let stand 1 minute.
  • Step 2
  • Stir in cream and sugar. Cook over medium-low heat for 5 minutes, or until gelatin is dissolved.
  • Step 3
  • Remove from heat. Add hot mixture into eggs a little at a time.
  • Step 4
  • Return all to the pan, stirring constantly. Cook and stir over medium heat, until a thermometer reads 160°F.
  • Step 5
  • DO NOT BOIL! remove from heat. Stir in almond extract.
  • Step 6
  • Pour into dessert dishes. Refrigerate until set.
  • Step 7
  • Add garnish if desired.
