  • 170 g Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 250 g Flour
  • 50 g Ground Almonds
  • 10 g Baking Powder
  • 120 g Yogurt
  • 50 g Slivered Almonds
  • 25 g Sliced Almonds

How to Make Almond Muffins

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Almond Muffins in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 350F. Line standard muffin tins with paper liners.
  • Step 2
  • Whisk together the flour, ground almonds and baking powder and sift; set aside.
  • Step 3
  • Bake the sliced and slivered almonds until slightly golden. Let them cool.
  • Step 4
  • Cream the butter and brown sugar. Add the eggs gradually; stir until well mixed. Add the yogurt and stir until smooth.
  • Step 5
  • Add the flour mixture and the slivered almonds to the butter mixture and use a rubber spatula to mix until smooth.
  • Step 6
  • Divide the batter evenly among the lined cups. Sprinkle the roasted sliced almonds on the tops of the muffins.
  • Step 7
  • Bake, rotating the tins halfway through. Transfer tins to wire racks to cool completely before removing the muffins.
