  • 250 grams digestive biscuits or graham crackers
  • 100 grams butter, melted
  • 1 can (397 grams) Carnation Caramel
  • 4 small bananas
  • 300 ml whipping cream
  • 1 grated chocolate, to decorate
  • 23 cm (9in) loose-bottomed tart tin


If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make AMIEs BANOFFEE PIE in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • To make the base, process the biscuits until like fine crumbs, then tip into a bowl. Stir in the melted butter. Using the spoon press the mixture into the base and up the sidesof the tin to make a pie shell.
  • Step 2
  • Spread the caramel over the base - do not over beat or the caramel will become runny, simply spread with a spoon or spatula.
  • Step 3
  • Chill until ready to serve.
  • Step 4
  • Slice the bananas and scatter over the base. Whip the cream to soft peaks and spoon over the bananas. Top with grated chocolate or cocoa. Serves 12
