  • 1 quantity pizza dough (homemade or readymade)
  • 1 can 400 gr tomato passata
  • 180 grams thinly round sliced spicy salami
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes
  • 300 grams buffalo mozzarella, torn
  • 1 herbs like basil, oregano, rosemary and tyhme, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1/2 tsp sugar

How to Make AMIEs Pizza with Spicy Salami

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make AMIEs Pizza with Spicy Salami in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat the oven to 220ºC (420ºF). Heat two 10-in metal pizza trays in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
  • Step 2
  • Meanwhile, make the sauce. Cook onion and garlic in a saucepan over medium heat, and saute until softened. Add the tomatoe sauce, herbs and sugar. Let it boil. Gently simmer over low heat for 15 minutes, until done. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  • Step 3
  • Remove trays from the oven and brush with oil. Stretch and shape two portions of the dough to fit the pizza trays.
  • Step 4
  • Spread the prepared tomatoe sauce over the pizza bases. Arrange the mozzarella over the top. Scatter the salami neatly and evenly. Sprinkle the chili flakes and drizzle with oil.
  • Step 5
  • Low the heat of the oven to 200ºC. Cook for 8-10 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the trays and bake on the oven rack for another 5 minutes, until bases are crisp.
  • Step 6
  • Slice, and serve hot.
