  • 40 grams - 1 1/2 oz Plain Chocolate
  • 50 grams - 2 oz margarine
  • 100 grams - 4 oz smooth peanut butter
  • 225 grams - 8 oz caster sugar
  • 2 .5 ml - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 2 small eggs - beaten
  • 225 grams - 8 oz plain flour
  • 1 .25ml - 1/4 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • 150 ml - 1 pt water

How to Make Amy Peanut Butter Cake

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Amy Peanut Butter Cake in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 180°C - 350°F , gas mark 4 .
  • Step 2
  • melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of hot water till it melts .
  • Step 3
  • Mix the margarine and peanut Butter then add the sugar and beat till light and fluffy , then beat in the vanilla essence , eggs and melted chocolate and mix well to combine all .
  • Step 4
  • sift the flour with the bicarbonate of soda and a pinch of salt , then fold the flour mixture alternately with the water till all is folded and combined through .
  • Step 5
  • pour batter mixture into prepared cake tin and cook for 30 - 35 minutes . leave the cooked cake in the tin for 5 minutes to cool a little then turn out to cool fully on a wire cake rack .
  • Step 6
  • spread with icing or topping of your choice . i can did a peanut icing sauce to ice the cake . enjoy . :-)
