  • 1/2 pound bacon, cooked & chopped
  • 3 cups AP flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • 1 Tbs baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups milk (almond or cashew works well too)
  • 2 Tbs vanilla
  • 2 Tbs cinnamon
  • 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1/2 cup real maple syrup

How to Make Apple Bacon Pancakes

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Apple Bacon Pancakes in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat skillet on medium heat (or electric griddle on 300°F)
  • Step 2
  • In large bowl, combine all dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Step 3
  • Add eggs, apple sauce, milk and syrup, stir approx 20 times. Do not over mix. There should be lumps.
  • Step 4
  • Fold in apples and bacon.
  • Step 5
  • Using your 1/2 cup, ladle batter onto skillet making as many pancakes as you can without crowding.
  • Step 6
  • Cook until edges are firm and bubbles are seen throughout. Flip and finish cooking. Repeat process until all batter is used.
  • Step 7
  • Serve with more syrup, or apple butter and cook up the remaining 1/2 pound of bacon for a side.
