  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground allspice
  • 1 1/2 cup diced peeled apple, about 1 large granny smith apple
  • 3/4 cup cinnamon chips
  • Cinnamon Ganache Glaze
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup cinnamomn chips
  • GARNISH
  • white sprinkles

How to Make Apple Cinnamon Spice Cake

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 350. Spray a 9 inch springform pan with bakers spray
  • Step 2
  • Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and allspice in a bowl

  • In a large bowl beat cream cheese, butter, vanilla and sugar until light and fluffy
  • Step 4
  • Add eggs one at a time, beating after each egg

  • Stir in flour just until well mixed, do not overmix

  • Scrape batter into prepared pan, it will be thick. Smooth with an off set spatula

  • Bake for 55 to 60 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out just clean. Cool on wire rack for about 45 minutes before realease ng from pan.

  • MAKE GLAZE
  • Step 10
  • Heat cream just until hot, pour over cinnamon chips in a bowl. Let sit one minute then stir until smooth. Refrigerate about 15 to 20 minutes, stirring often to thicken some
  • Step 11
  • Pour over cake, decorate with white sprinkles while glaze is wet. Let glaze set before slicing
