  • 1 tsp. Nutmeg

  • 5 Quarts Water
  • 6 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
  • 12 qt. Apples, peeled, cored, and chopped.

    Step 1
  • Mix Sugar, corn starch, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt in large stock pot.
  • Step 2
  • Stir in water and bring to boil over medium heat.
  • Step 3
  • Add apples and lemon juice, stir well.
  • Step 4
  • Fill clean jars leaving 1/2 inch head space.
  • Step 5
  • Wipe rim of each jar and cap
  • Step 6
  • Process in water bath for 20 minutes.
