  • 1 packages Pre-made pie crust
  • 5 medium apples
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 1 each eggs
  • 1 raw sugar for top of crust

How to Make Apple pie

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Apple pie in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 400°f and let pie crust come to room temp.
  • Step 2
  • Peel, core and slice apples.
  • Step 3
  • Mix all filling ingredients together in a bowl. Let stand for 10 min.
  • Step 4
  • Place first crust in pie tin then fill. Cover pie with other crust, pinch edges, and cut slits for ventilation.
  • Step 5
  • Brush egg on crust, sprinkle with raw sugar and cinnamon.
  • Step 6
  • Bake at 400° for 30-40 minutes. Cover with foil for the first 20 minutes.
