Ingredients: Asian Pear Sorbet

  • 1 Asian pear (any variety)
  • 3 tsp Granulated sugar (or sugar of your choice)
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice (I use bottled lemon juice)
  • 2 tbsp Water

How to Make Asian Pear Sorbet

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Asian Pear Sorbet in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Peel the pear, and cube into pieces several cm thick.
  • Step 2
  • Add pear, lemon juice, and sugar to the blender, and blend. It is fine if there are some chunks left.
  • Step 3
  • Transfer the mixture (from Step 2) into a zip lock bag, add the water to the mixer and give it a whirl. Make sure any remaining bits of pear are also poured into the bag.
  • Step 4
  • Chill in freezer for about 2 hours. After an hour or so, take out the bag and work it a little to break up the chunks.
