  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium carrot, chopped
  • 1 small hot pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup scallion, cut into 1 1/2 inch length
  • 4 slice turkey bacon, sliced
  • Final touch
  • 2 lb fresh mussels
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp cooking wine
  • 1 tsp sugar

How to Make Asian Steam Mussels

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Asian Steam Mussels in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • soak fresh mussels in cold water for 30 min. Rinse a few times to ensure shells are clean.

  • Drain the water, set aside mussels
  • Step 3
  • Heat olive oil in a large deep pot

  • Add all of the vegetables and bacon (fixin‘) to the pot, stir fry for 2 minutes
