Ingredients: Asian Wings

  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup Lemon or Calamansi juice
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • dash Salt and pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup cooking oil (depends on how deep it your pan)
  • Coating
  • 1/2 cup kikoman soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp Cooked sesame seeds
  • Topping
  • 2 tbsp chopped onion spring

How to Make Asian Wings

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Asian Wings in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Marinade chicken wings with Calamansi or lemon juice, salt and pepper. Let it stay for 30mins.
  • Step 2
  • Mix all together Cornstarch, flour, eggs and water.
  • Step 3
  • Dip chicken to mixture. When fully coated, drop chicken to the hot pan to start deep frying, cook for 9 minutes each batch.
  • Step 4
  • While frying the wings, get another pan for the coating sauce.
  • Step 5
  • Put kikoman soy sauce, sugar and water. Mix till it thickens.
  • Step 6
  • Then add cooked sesame seeds. Make sure it is in low heat when the sauce thickens.
  • Step 7
  • Preparation: Put cooked chicken on a plate then coat chicken wings with the sauce. Transfer to serving plate and top with chopped onion spring.
