  • 1 large onion. chopped
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 kg beef cubes.
  • 1 can tomato (400grams)
  • 1 large billpepper. chredded
  • 2 small dried lemon( black)
  • 1 medium carrot. chredded
  • 2 tbsp fresh genger. large cubes
  • 2 cup rice
  • 1 cup chickpea. poached
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumen powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp cardamum powder
  • 2 bay leaf
  • 1 water
  • 1 salt to taste.

How to Make Aya's Kabsa(Saudi)

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Aya's Kabsa(Saudi) in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • in a large pan, cook the onion with oil until golden brown
  • Step 2
  • add the beef cubes and mix it with all spices.
  • Step 3
  • put the tomato juice, carrot, dried lemons, genger and billpepper on the meat and mix.
  • Step 4
  • add some water and leave it untill it cooked. if u needed more water, you could add some.
  • Step 5
  • take out the beef and leave it beside. now add the rice, salt and chickpeas to the stew.
  • Step 6
  • keep it cooking on a medium heat. if it needed more water you could add some.
  • Step 7
  • when you feel its almost ready, put the meat on the top of the rice on the lowest heat for 20 min. max.
  • Step 8
  • serve it with slices of boiled eggd and hot souce.
