  • 8 Hot dogs
  • 8 slice Bacon (not thick cut)
  • 8 Hot dog buns
  • 1 cup lightly crushed Corn Chips (plain or flavored, Frito chili cheese corn chips adds a lot of flavor)
  • 1/2 cup sliced pickled Jalapenos
  • 1 & 1/2 cup Nacho Cheese Sauce (homemade or store bought).
  • 2 tsp AP BBQ Rub (recipe attached below)
  • Nacho Cheese Sauce
  • 1 Easy Nacho Cheese Sauce, recipe attached below

How to Make Bacon and Nacho Cheese Hot Dogs

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Bacon and Nacho Cheese Hot Dogs in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Wrap each hot dog with one strip of bacon and secure the ends with toothpicks. Season with AP BBQ rub and refrigerate until needed.
  • Step 2
  • Make the nacho cheese sauce. Cover with a lid and turn heat to very low and keep warm.
  • Step 3
  • Set up your grill with a 3 Zone Fire with a drip pan in the front. Details in attachment.
  • Step 4
  • Place bacon wrapped hot dogs on the grill over the drip pan. Add a handful of what wood chips directly to the fire and cook at 350°F for 20 to 30 minutes or longer. Continue cooking until the bacon is crispy, just keep an eye on them.
  • Step 5
  • Top hot dogs with nacho cheese sauce and a few jalapeno slices and some lightly crushed corn chips.
