  • 16 cup popcorn-popped
  • 1 lb sliced bacon
  • 1 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 cup unsalted, roastede penuts
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp kosher salt

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Bacon peanut caramel corn in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • ine two large baking sheets with parchment paper and preheat oven to 300°F
  • Step 2
  • In large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy, remove bacon and leave fat in pan
  • Step 3
  • With fat still in pan, add maple syrup, peanuts, pepper, cinnamon, and salt. Combine, heat for one minute until it starts to bubble.
  • Step 4
  • Cut bacon into 1inch by 1/4inch strips and add to popcorn in large bowl. Add mixture on top and mix with heat proof spatula until popcorn is evenly coated.
  • Step 5
  • Spread popcorn on baking sheets and bake for 20 min. May feel soggy but will crisp as it cools. Let cool completely before putting into container. Will last a week at room temp.
