  • 3 lb red potatoes; quartered
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 packages applewood bacon
  • 1 1/2 tbsp rosemary; minced
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 2 tsp thyme; minced
  • 2 tsp ground white pepper
  • 2 pinch salt
  • 1 vegetable oil; as needed

How to Make Bacon-Ranch Roasted Taters

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Bacon-Ranch Roasted Taters in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Place bacon on a sheet tray. Bake at 350° for approximately 20-25 minutes or until bacon is crispy and fat is rendered.
  • Step 2
  • Remove bacon from tray and dice into medium bite sized pieces. Set aside.
  • Step 3
  • Toss potatoes with enough bacon fat to cover. Add oil only if necessary. Season with dried spices.
  • Step 4
  • Roast at 400° for approximately 40-45 minutes or until potatoes are caramelized and fork tender. Shake baking tray a few times during cooking to move around potatoes for more even caramelization.
  • Step 5
  • Place potatoes in a large mixing bowl. Toss with ranch and most of the bacon. Garnish with remaining bacon.
  • Step 6
  • Variations; Blue cheese, mozzarella, goat cheese, cilantro, parsley, horseradish, honey, roasted bell peppers or shallots, garlic, caramelized onions
