  • 4 Potatoes
  • 2 Japanese leek
  • 1 can Canned tuna in oil
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 4 to 6 tablespoons Milk
  • 1 Melting type cheese
  • 1 Salt and pepper

How to Make Baked Potato and Tuna with Cheese

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Baked Potato and Tuna with Cheese in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Peel the potatoes and slice thinly with a slicer or mandolin. Julienne the white part of the leek (it doesn't have to be ultra thin). Soak both in water.
  • Step 2
  • Drain the potatoes and leek. Wrap the potatoes in plastic wrap and microwave for 2 minutes. Mix the leek with the canned tuna! Mix the milk and mayonnaise together in another bowl!
  • Step 3
  • Put the potatoes in a heatproof dish. Add the tuna and leek mix, then pour the mayonnaise-milk sauce over all. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then top with some melting type cheese.
  • Step 4
  • Bake in a toaster oven until the cheese starts to brown (in our toaster oven it took about 7 minutes) and it's done. Add Tabasco to taste!
