  • 1 medium to large racoon
  • 1 packages of dried onion soup mix
  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 1 can of tomatoes, copped
  • 1 salt and pepper to taste

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Baked Racoon and Onion in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • skin and clean racoon, then cut into pieces.
  • Step 2
  • clean out scent glands and remove all fat.
  • Step 3
  • place racoon in large pot and cover with water.
  • Step 4
  • add salt and pepper and cook until half cooked.
  • Step 5
  • when half cooked, remove from pot and drain and save the stock.
  • Step 6
  • place racoon in roasting pan and pour stock in pan until racoon is half covered.
  • Step 7
  • sprinkle racoon with onion soup mix, salt and pepper, sliced onions, and chopped tomatoes.
  • Step 8
  • cover and cook at 325°until done. approx. one hour.
  • Step 9
  • baste a couple of times while cooking
