Ingredients: Baked Salmon

  • 1 1/4 kg salmon
  • 100 grams butter
  • 10 ml crushed garlic
  • 1 medium zest of a lemon
  • 15 ml fish spice (I use Robertson fish spice)
  • salt and pepper
  • 5 rosemary

How to Make Baked Salmon

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Baked Salmon in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 220°C.
  • Step 2
  • Melt the butter. Mix the melted butter with the garlic, lemon zest, fish spice, salt and pepper.
  • Step 3
  • Place the salmon in a baking tray on top of a piece of tinfoil, make sure that the tinfoil is big enough to also cover the fish with later.
  • Step 4
  • Pour the butter mixture over the salmon, place the rosemary on top. Cover the salmon with the tinfoil.
  • Step 5
  • Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and rest for 7 minutes.
