  • 5 Italian sausages
  • 1 red bell pepper; thick julienne
  • 1 yellow bell pepper; thick julienne
  • 1 yellow onion; thick julienne
  • 2 cup Marinara sauce
  • 1 cup Pizza cheese blend
  • 1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 pinch celery salt
  • 1 olive oil; as needed

How to Make Baked Sausage Marinara

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Baked Sausage Marinara in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Brown sausages slowly on both sides in a small saute pan or grill pan.
  • Step 2
  • Put a small amount of marinara in the bottom of a small saute pan or casserole dish. Layer sausages, peppers, onions, sauce and cheese. Sprinkle with celery salt and pepper flakes.
  • Step 3
  • Cover and bake at 325° for approximately 40 minutes or until thermometer reaches 155°. Bake uncovered for last ten minutes. If sausages still aren't cooked and cheese is melted, cover and finish baking.
  • Step 4
  • Serve on baguette
