  • 1 lb Sausage (hot or mild)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 pinch red pepper (optional)
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • 3/4 box penne pasta
  • 2 can tomato sauce (24oz. each)
  • 3 cup italian blended cheese
  • 1/4 cup parmesan grated cheese
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

How to Make Baked Ziti

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Baked Ziti in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Boil water & cook pasta
  • Step 2
  • Brown sausage (add red pepper while browning.) Drain.
  • Step 3
  • Brown ground beef. (add onion & garlic powder while browning.) Drain.
  • Step 4
  • In 9x13 pan, mix meats, pasta, cheeses & tomato sauce. Mix well.
  • Step 5
  • Cover & bake at °400 for 40 mintues.
  • Step 6
  • Uncover & sprinkle top with desired amount of cheese. Bake an additional 10-15 mintues uncovered.
