Ingredients: Bakpao

  • dough
  • 300 grams flour
  • 8 grams instant yeast
  • 100 grams powdered sugar
  • 175 ml warm water
  • 60 grams Cornstarch
  • 30 grams buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • fill dough
  • 200 grams minched chicken
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 red onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • garnish
  • cherry
  • strawberry jam

How to Make Bakpao

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Bakpao in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • For fill dough: Pound garlic and red onion. Add sugar, salt and pepper. Put minched chicked and then mix them until blended.
  • Step 2
  • For dough: Mix flour, instant yeast, baking powder and powdered sugar in to the bowl
  • Step 3
  • Pour warm water and then knead until smooth
  • Step 4
  • Add buttermilk and salt.
  • Step 5
  • Knead and let stand for about 30 minutes in a closed state
  • Step 6
  • Weigh the dough each 30 grams, then round it off. let stand for 10 minutes
  • Step 7
  • Flatten dough with rolling pin and fill it with fill dough
  • Step 8
  • Steamed over medium heat about 30 minutes
  • Step 9
  • Bakpaos is ready to serve. You can decorate like mine with cheery and strawberry jam.
