  • 3 Bamboo ,fresh
  • 1/2 kg sticky rice ,fresh harvest prefrable
  • 1/2 liter water
  • 1/2 tsp salt ,option

How to Make Bamboo Rice

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Bamboo Rice in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Take one bamboo ,fill raw sticky rice until almost full,repeat another 2 bamboo
  • Step 2
  • Add salt ,fill bamboo with water ,while adding there will be bubbles thats mean water is running down to the bottom ,keep add water until full,cover with banana leaves
  • Step 3
  • Direct baked on wood fire until bamboo turn black ,keep roll bamboo to make it cook evenly
  • Step 4
  • After its cooked,hit bamboo with wood or heavy knife to let the thin bamboo tissue stick to the rice
  • Step 5
  • Peel out black bamboo..and voilaaa a very white and smell so good rice ..taste it warm ..
