  • 4 bananas (smashed)
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 1/2 cup All purpose flour

How to Make Banana Bread

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Banana Bread in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Step 2
  • with a wooden spoon mix butter into the mashed bananas in a large mixing bowl
  • Step 3
  • mix in the sugar, egg and vanilla
  • Step 4
  • sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in
  • Step 5
  • add the flour last
  • Step 6
  • pour mixture into a buttered loaf pan
  • Step 7
  • bake for an hour then cool on a rack
  • Step 8
  • You can always add walnuts as well, sometimes I'll add raisins and sprinkle the top with oats
