Ingredients: Banana Bread

  • 3-4 Bananas (Medium size, overly ripe)
  • 2 1/2 cup (300 g) Self-raising flour
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) Brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Butter (soften)
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1/2 tbsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts or pecan
  • 1/4 cup Chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Blueberries

How to Make Banana Bread

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 10 steps you must follow to make Banana Bread in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven 175C (350F)
  • Step 2
  • Oil spray or butter grease a 9"x5" loaf pan
  • Step 3
  • Mash bananas with fork then add lemon juice and set aside
  • Step 4
  • Medium bowl- mix dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt)
  • Step 5
  • Large bowl- wet ingredients Mix butter and brown sugar first +eggs +mashed bananas +vanilla +1/2 of milk
  • Step 6
  • Slowly sift, add and mix dry ingredients into wet ingredient bowl. add and mix the other 1/2 milk if needed. DO NOT OVER MIX! The bread will get tough.
  • Step 7
  • Optional: Walnut or pecan, chocolate chip, blueberries, apple and etc. Slowly fold into bowl, and pour into creased loaf pan. (Can also sprinkle on top)
  • Step 8
  • Bake for approx 55mins until toothpick comes out clean.
  • Step 9
  • ☆If the bread starts to get too brown, cover the bread with foil and bake until cooked. This will prevent bread goes darker.
  • Step 10
  • After bread is cooked, take it out of ovan and let it cool for 1hr before taking out of pan. ENJOY♡
