Ingredients: Banana Chiffon

  • 1 big banana or 2 small bananas (mashed)
  • 8 eggs
  • 60 oz self raising flour
  • 60 oz caster sugar
  • 5 tbsp milk
  • 5 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar

How to Make Banana Chiffon

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Banana Chiffon in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Separate the egg white and yolk in separate bowl
  • Step 2
  • Whip the egg white till it is white and fluffy
  • Step 3
  • Add part of the sugar in the egg white and the cream of tartar, than whisk it again until stiff peak
  • Step 4
  • The remain of the sugar add it to the egg yolks, mix it till all is combined. Than add your mashed banana and mix it again till combined
  • Step 5
  • Fold the egg whites with the egg yolks and pour it in tin. Bang it on table to make the air pop
  • Step 6
  • First bake it for 15 mintues in 130 Celsius
  • Step 7
  • Secondly bake it for another 15 mintues for 140 Celsius
  • Step 8
  • Lastly bake it for 20 mintues for 160 Celsius
  • Step 9
  • Finished baking, leave it to cool and take it out if the tin
