  • 1 Ripe banana
  • 3 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup Shortening
  • 1/4 cup Margarine or butter
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract

How to Make Banana Frosting

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Banana Frosting in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Start off by mashing your banana. Cut it in large slices and mash it with a fork. Add to a large mixing bowl.
  • Step 2
  • Add shortening, vanilla and margarine to the mixing bowl and beat with an electric mixer until everything looks even.
  • Step 3
  • Add powdered sugar, little by little, while continuously mixing.
  • Step 4
  • Beat at high speed for 5 minutes.
  • Step 5
  • You can use it right as it is, but I prefer letting it sit in the fridge for about 30 minutes before using (easier to use). Enjoy! :)
