  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup pecan liquor
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 1 1/2 cup wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 turbanado sugar for topping
  • 3/4 cup pecans, chopped

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Banana Pecan Muffins in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 375 °.
  • Step 2
  • Line a muffin tin with paper cups and set aside.
  • Step 3
  • In a stand mixer (or you can mix by hand) cream the bananas, pecan liquor and honey for a minute or two.
  • Step 4
  • Add the egg, canola oil and vanilla until incorporated.
  • Step 5
  • Lastly, add flour, baking soda and salt. Mix until well combined then add in the pecans.
  • Step 6
  • Fill muffin cups almost all the way to the top then sprinkle with the turbanado sugar for garnish.
  • Step 7
  • Bake for 20 minutes until the muffins are springy to the touch or a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
