Ingredients: Barsha's coffee cake

  • 5 eggs
  • 2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup coffee
  • 15 coffee beans
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup coffee
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 50 grams chocolate
  • 2 tbsp cream

How to Make Barsha's coffee cake

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Barsha's coffee cake in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Break eggs in a bowl and separate the yolk from the egg whites, blend the yolks with a hand blender till its light and frothy.
  • Step 2
  • Add powdered sugar and sieve flour in it slowly & steadily and blend for another minute.
  • Step 3
  • Add vanilla essence, baking powder, coffee and cocoa powder and mix well.
  • Step 4
  • Take coffee beans, roast them and add them to the cake batter.(if you want it to be crunchy)
  • Step 5
  • Preheat oven at 180°C. Take a dish of aluminium or glass grease it with butter.
  • Step 6
  • Pour the batter in the dish, and pour the egg white on top of the batter slowly. Bake for 10 minutes in HIGH temp.(Baking for long will reduce cake's moisture)
  • Step 7
  • For Icing -
  • Step 8
  • take milk,sugar and coffee and beat it, add melted chocolate and cream. Mix well and fill it in the icing cone.(avoid adding too much of cream or milk)
  • Step 9
