  • 1 1/2 tbsp ▼ Soy Sauce
  • 1 1/2 tbsp ▼ Mirin
  • 2 tbsp ▼ Sake
  • 1/2 bunch Wasabi greens (75 g)

How to Make Beef Steak, Chaliapin Style

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Beef Steak, Chaliapin Style in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Sprinkle the ingredients marked with ♦ over the steak, and place in a plastic bag. Add the ingredients marked with ♢ and mix together, then seal the bag and let sit for 30 minutes. Mince the new onion.
  • Step 2
  • Remove the stem and seeds from the red pepper, and cut into thin slices. Coat a skillet with oil, and lightly stir-fry the red peppers. Remove and sprinkle on salt.
  • Step 3
  • Add 1 teaspoon of oil to the skillet, and cook the meat. Remove the meat once both sides have browned.
  • Step 4
  • Add the butter and the other teaspoon of oil to the frying pan, and stir-fry the minced onion. Once the onions have browned, add the ▼ ingredients, and reduce by half.
  • Step 5
  • Place the wasabi greens on a plate, and arrange the red peppers with them. Place the beef steaks on top, and cover with the sauce from Step 4.
