  • BEEF STIR FRY
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves (chopped)
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 lbs flank steak (cut into 1/2 inch strips)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tsp curry powder
  • 2 tomatoes (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • BROCCOLINI
  • 2 cups chopped broccolini (1 bunch)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 red onion (sliced)
  • 1 (2 inch) piece ginger (peeled and minced)
  • 2 garlic cloves (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp curry powder
  • 2 tsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2 scallions ( bottoms, chopped )
  • salt and pepper

How to Make Beef Stir Fry with Broccolini

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 15 steps you must follow to make Beef Stir Fry with Broccolini in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • BEEF STIR FRY

  • Combine orange juice, sesame oil, and 2 tbsp olive oil in a large bowl
  • Step 3
  • Add flank steak and turn to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes

  • Strain marinade from steak, reserving 2 tbsp. Mix reserved marinade with cornstarch in a small bowl, and set aside.

  • Heat remaining 3 tbsp olive oil in wok or large saute pan. Add onion and curry powder and saute until translucent, about 3 minutes.

  • Add flank steak, saute until browned, about 5 minutes
  • Step 7
  • Add marinade mixture, tomatoes, and soy sauce. Bring to a boil and cook until sauce thickens, about 1 minute.
  • Step 8
  • Remive from heat and add parsley. Season with salt and pepper, serve with broccolini

  • BROCCOLINI
  • Step 10
  • Bring pot of salted water to boil
  • Step 11
  • Add broccolini, and simmer for 1 minute.

  • Strain and rinse with cold water
  • Step 13
  • Heat olive oil in a large saute pan over medium heat. Add onion and saute until translucent, about 3 minutes.
  • Step 14
  • Add ginger, garlic, sesame seeds, curry powder, and tomato paste. Saute for 2 minutes.
  • Step 15
  • Add broccolini, soy sauce, lime juice, sesame oil, vinegar, and scallions. Stir until heated through, about 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
