  • 2 cups white minute rice
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1-2 cups mixed frozen veggies
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • to taste salt & pepper
  • dash chopped onion
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 tbsp butter or margarine

How to Make Beefy Rice & Veggies

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Beefy Rice & Veggies in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cook rice as directed. Set aside.
  • Step 2
  • Brown beef in a large skillet or wok. Season with garlic, salt, and pepper to taste. Drain any leftover grease.
  • Step 3
  • Add frozen veggies, onion, and 1 cup of water to skillet. Boil on high until water boils away. Stir frequently. (If using leftover cooked veggies, simply add to skillet and skip the water.)
  • Step 4
  • Turn off heat. Add butter and rice to skillet. Stir until butter is melted. Remove from heat and enjoy!
