Prepare the ingredients before making Beer Chili in your home. Then, follow these steps below to serve Beer Chili for your family or friends.

Ingredients: Beer Chili

  • 2 lb Ground beef or beef stew meat
  • 1 large Onion (I use sweet)
  • 1 large Green bell pepper
  • 3 clove Garlic - minced
  • 2 can 8 ounce tomato sauce
  • 1 can 6 ounce tomato paste
  • 1 can 14.5 ounce diced tomatoes
  • 8 oz Medium salsa
  • 2 can Beer (I prefer Heineken)
  • 2 can 15 ounce Kidney Beans
  • 4 tbsp Chili Seasoning Mix (see my recipe)
  • 1 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp Cayenne pepper

How to Make Beer Chili

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Beer Chili in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Brown ground beef/beef stew meat in a large pot and season with salt, pepper, and chili powder
  • Step 2
  • While browning meat: in another pan heat olive oil (about 2 teaspoons) and add diced green pepper and diced onion. Cook until translucent and then add garlic, cook another 2 minutes. Add to ground beef/beef stew meat pot.
  • Step 3
  • Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and then turn down the heat to a simmer or transfer to a crockpot.
  • Step 4
  • The longer it cooks the better it is!!!
  • Step 5
  • Top with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and onions. Or whatever is your favorite. ENJOY!!!
