  • 1 can salmon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch Black pepper
  • 1/2 each onion (diced)
  • 1 tsp old bay seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Louisiana Fish Fry (lemon flavor)
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Big Daddy's Salmon Patties in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Debone salmon and place in a large bowl.
  • Step 2
  • Keep the water from the salmon. Place in a small bowl.
  • Step 3
  • In a separate bowl manually beat 1 egg for 10 seconds. Add to the salmon.
  • Step 4
  • Add the remaining ingredients (except the cooking oil).
  • Step 5
  • Mix all ingredients together. Until the mixture can be formed into 1 inch balls
  • Step 6
  • Note: If the mixture is too dry add some of the water that was drained off of the salmon. If the mixture is too wet add more fish fry to it.
  • Step 7
  • Medium Heat: add 1 tablespoon of cooking in a medium skillet.
  • Step 8
  • Cook the patties for 5 minutes on each side (or until golden brown).
  • Step 9
  • Serve with your favorite side dish for a wonderful and savory meal!
