Ingredients: BIMA STARCH SKEWERS (Salome Bima)

  • 200 gr starch
  • 200 gr wheat flour
  • 150 gr fish meat

  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed

  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 stalks spring onions, finely sliced
  • 400 ml water, the addition is needed until the dough is formed
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Water for boiling
  • PEANUT SAUCE
  • 150 gr peanuts, fried
  • ½ clove garlic
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 3 lime leaves, thinly sliced
  • to taste Cayenne pepper
  • Salt and enough water
  • Soy sauce
  • VEGETABLES
  • 75 g cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 75 g carrot, shaved

How to Make BIMA STARCH SKEWERS (Salome Bima)

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 10 steps you must follow to make BIMA STARCH SKEWERS (Salome Bima) in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • The first step is to mix starch with wheat flour, then sift. Then add the onion, garlic and fish meat. Mix well and set aside.

  • For the peanut sauce: Mix peanut puree, cayenne peppers and garlic. Mix in the brown sugar, vinegar, sugar, water and salt.
  • Step 9
  • Heat briefly to the boil and thicken, stir well and add the orange leaves. Remove and set aside.
  • Step 10
  • Salome is served with peanut sauce and raw vegetables. You can add soy sauce, if desired.
