  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 1 large coarsely chopped onion
  • 1 jalapeño pepper chopped

  • 1 can black beans (drained)
  • 1 can Great Northern white beans (drained)
  • 1 can fire roasted tomatoes (Do not drain)
  • 6 clove whole garlic
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar (optional)
  • 2 tbsp Chili seasoning
  • 1 cup low sodium chicken broth or water

How to Make Black & White Chili

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Black & White Chili in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cut chicken into 3/4 inch cubes
  • Step 2
  • Brown chicken; approx. 5 minutes
  • Step 3
  • Add onion, jalapeño, and minced garlic; cook for additional 2 minutes

  • Transfer to slow cooker.
  • Step 5
  • Thoroughly rinse beans.
  • Step 6
  • Add beans, tomatoes, whole garlic, apple cider vinegar, & seasoning.

  • Stir in broth or water.

  • Set slow cooker temperature to low.
  • Step 9
  • Cook for 4-4 1/2 hours.
