  • 15 1/2 oz can of black beans
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs, seasoned panko

  • salt and pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp butter for frying
  • 1/4 tsp granulated garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin for frying
  • 15 oz can of chickpeas
  • condiments
  • 1/4 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 2 tsp spicy mustard
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese, I used Monterey jack colby cheddar cheese
  • naan
  • 9 oz naan
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

How to Make Blackbean naanwich

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Blackbean naanwich in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Drain the juices off the beans
  • Step 2
  • In a big bowl, add breadcrumbs, egg, salt and pepper, garam masala, chickpeas, garlic, onion and beans.
  • Step 3
  • Mix the beans, chickpeas, and ingredients well, and form into patties. mash everything well
  • Step 4
  • Heat oil and butter add the patties to oil pan fry, turning as needed. Cover in between turning. Cook till done.
  • Step 5
  • Add shredded cheese to top of patties cover remove from heat let cheese melt
  • Step 6
  • Add mustard and lettuce to naan, add pattie on top of lettuce. Hope you enjoy

  • Add sour cream on top of sauce optional
