Ingredients: Blackberry Wine Cake

  • 1 box White Cake Mix
  • 1 box Blackberry Jello (3oz size) or Black Cherry
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (confectioner sugar )
  • 1 1/2 cup Blackberry Wine
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Pecans

How to Make Blackberry Wine Cake

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 2 steps you must follow to make Blackberry Wine Cake in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 325. Grease a 9 or 10 inch bunt pan or a tube pan. Put chopped pecans on bottom of pan. Combine cake mix dry blackberry jello, eggs, oil and 1 cup blackberry wine. Beat for 2 minutes , then pour batter over the top of pecans. Bake at 325 for 40 to 45 minutes or until cake test done.
  • Step 2
  • FOR BLACKBERRY WINE GLAZE ..... Mix together powdered sugar with 1/2 cup blackberry wine and softened butter. Beat until smooth. Pour half of the blackberry wine glaze over the top of cake while still warm. Let sit for 10 minutes , then remove cake from pan. allow to cool fully before pouring the remaining glaze on top of cake.
