  • 1 1/2 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 loaf bread (any kind, I usually use French bread)
  • 1 pints blueberries
  • 1/2 packages cream cheese

How to Make Blueberry and Cream Cheese Baked French Toast

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 12 steps you must follow to make Blueberry and Cream Cheese Baked French Toast in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Slice loaf of bread if not already sliced. Slice thickness to your liking.
  • Step 2
  • Beat eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon together.
  • Step 3
  • In a sauce pan, melt butter. Then add brown sugar and light corn syrup. Do not scorch.
  • Step 4
  • Spray casserole dish with cooking spray.
  • Step 5
  • Pour half of the brown sugar sauce on bottom of casserole dish.
  • Step 6
  • Arrange bread slices on bottom of pan, trying to cover completely. Sprinkle blueberries over bread. Cut cream cheese and drop pieces randomly through out.
  • Step 7
  • Drizzle brown sugar sauce over bread. Do not use all left over sauce.
  • Step 8
  • Pour about a third of egg mixture over layer.
  • Step 9
  • Next, repeat layer. And repeat with blueberries, cream cheese, brown sugar sauce and egg mixture.
  • Step 10
  • Layer once more. Add remaining blueberries, cream cheese, brown sugar sauce and eggs.
  • Step 11
  • Cover with aluminum wrap and bake for 30 mins at 350°F.
  • Step 12
  • After 30 mins uncover and bake for approximately another 30 mins.
