  • 1 1/4 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp garlic chopped
  • 45 oz Ragu traditional sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp basil chopped
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 12 oz bow tie pasta
  • 8 oz philadelphia cream cheese
  • 1 each eggs
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 16 oz fresh mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 topping- 1/2 cup parmesan and 1 teaspoon basil

How to Make Bow tie pasta bake

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Bow tie pasta bake in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cook beef, oregano, onion and garlic over medium heat in large sauce pan til meat is no longer pink. Drain fat
  • Step 2
  • Add Ragu sauce, parsley, basil, worcestershire sauce and 1/2 teaspoon oregano. Cover and simmer with meat for 1 hr, stirring occasionally.
  • Step 3
  • Cook bow tie pasta aldente and drain
  • Step 4
  • In large bowl combine cream cheese, egg, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Set aside.
  • Step 5
  • Grease 13 x 9 glass baking dish, spread 1 cup meat sauce, top with layer of 1/2 the pasta, 1/2 the cheese mixture and 8oz of sliced fresh mozzarella log.
  • Step 6
  • Repeat layers.
  • Step 7
  • Top with remaining meat sauce, sprinkle with parmesan cheese and oregano. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes, uncovered.
  • Step 8
  • Let set for 30 minutes, then serve.
