  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 100 grams shredded coconut

How to Make Brazilian Quindão

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Brazilian Quindão in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • It is reccomended to sieve the egg yolks to remove the strong taste of egg. But it is not mandatory.
  • Step 2
  • Mix all ingredients but the coconut in a blender.
  • Step 3
  • After everything is mixed well, add the coconut.
  • Step 4
  • Blend it a bit more.
  • Step 5
  • Grease a tube baking pan with a lot of butter, then add sugar to it instead of flour, like you would usually do.
  • Step 6
  • Put the mix on top of the sugar you have just added to the pan.
  • Step 7
  • Cook on medium heat (350F or 180C) for 40 to 50 minutes.
  • Step 8
  • *This recipe is a simpler version of the Quindim recipe you can see in my profile. This is one of my mom's favorite, cause it is really simple and quite fast to make!
