Ingredients: Breakfast Bagels

  • 1 packages Bagel thins - I used the everything bagels
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 cup Milk
  • 4 Tblsp. Butter or bacon grease
  • 4 Tblsp. Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

How to Make Breakfast Bagels

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Breakfast Bagels in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • For the gravy:

  • Melt the butter in a saucepan. Sprinkle in the flour and whisk until blended. Add salt and pepper and pour in the milk. Whisk until blended and starts to thicken.
  • Step 3
  • Toast your bagels.
  • Step 4
  • Fry eggs to your preference. I like mine sunny side up.
  • Step 5
  • Place the bottom of the bagel on serving dish, pour gravy over and top with egg. Put your bagel top slightly to the side of the egg. I topped mine with diced tomatoes and jalapeño peppers.
