Ingredients: Breakfast Casserole

  • 1 lb of tater tots
  • 16 oz sasuage (can use chopped ham, chicken, turkey bacon or sasuage)
  • 2 cup your favorite cheese
  • 4 cup eggs, egg whites or yolks; more or less eggs depending on how thick you like it
  • season
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp your favorite mustard
  • 1 onion, chopped (optional)
  • 1 pepper (bell, sweet, spicy, whatever you like)
  • 1 mushrooms
  • 1 sour cream(optional)

How to Make Breakfast Casserole

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Breakfast Casserole in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Layer the bottom of your dish with tater tots. (They can be frozen, unfrozen (a just cooking accordingly). I generally have them out as soon as I decide I'm cooking this dish so they are half frozen when its headed into the oven
  • Step 2
  • Crumble sauage over top layer with cheese
  • Step 3
  • In a bowl add all ingredients with the milk, and mix well and pour over tot and meat dish.
  • Step 4
  • Layer with remaining cheese and bake in preheated oven on 375° for 35 minutes
  • Step 5
  • Serve with Southern style grits or toast, if you have time to sit down or cut in pie slices and kids can enjoy on there ride to school
