  • 3 cup cold, cooked white rice
  • 1/2 lb ground breakfast sausage
  • 3 each eggs, lightly scrambled
  • 2 each green onions, diced
  • 1 tbsp Kikkoman soy sauce

How to Make Breakfast Fried Rice

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Breakfast Fried Rice in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Set stove burner on medium-high.
  • Step 2
  • In large skillet, wok, or dutch oven brown the sausage. Drain, reserving fat.
  • Step 3
  • In same skillet, cook eggs until just set. Remove.
  • Step 4
  • In same skillet, add 2 tablespoons pork fat(if you don't have enough, you can supplement with butter or vegetable oil). Heat fat until hot and add rice. Cook rice until lightly brown, turning occasionally.
  • Step 5
  • When rice is browned: add sausage, eggs, diced green onions, and soy sauce. Mix well. Remove from heat.
  • Step 6
  • Serve immediately. Season individual servings with additional soy sauce if needed.
  • Step 7
  • Enjoy!
