Ingredients: Breakfast Pot Pie

  • 1/2 lb breakfast sausage roll.. I used Jimmy dean.
  • 1 1/2 tbsp flour
  • 2 cup whole milk
  • 4 tbsp canned peas
  • 4 tbsp diced cooked carrots, I used fresh boiled baby carrots.
  • 1 lb grands biscuits, I used butter tastin flakey layers. 8pack can
  • 1 cooking spray
  • 1 salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Breakfast Pot Pie

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 18 steps you must follow to make Breakfast Pot Pie in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • preheat oven to 350°
  • Step 2
  • in a skillet crumble and fry sausage until no longer pink.
  • Step 3
  • add flour and fry for a minute.
  • Step 4
  • add milk, salt and pepper.. whisk continuously until it thickens and no lumps of flour remain.. and is bubbly.
  • Step 5
  • add carrots and peas. heat until hot. it will continue to thicken as it cools.
  • Step 6
  • set aside.
  • Step 7
  • open biscuits and flatten each one between two pieces of waxed paper big enough to fit and cover the inside of a muffin tin.
  • Step 8
  • spray four muffin tin spots with spray.
  • Step 9
  • place four of the 8 biscuits into the sprayed spots.
  • Step 10
  • pour about 1tbl. of the sausage mix into the biscuit that is in the tin.
  • Step 11
  • take remaining four biscuits and place on top. pressing around the edges to make sure its sealed.
  • Step 12
  • bake for ten minutes.
  • Step 13
  • remove from oven and let cool a moment.
  • Step 14
  • place a cookie sheet over pot pies. and inert them out of the pan.
  • Step 15
  • place pot pies onto plate right side up.
  • Step 16
  • reheat remaining sausage mix if too cold then pour remaining sausage mix over you're pot pie if you wish.
  • Step 17
  • serve!
  • Step 18
  • makes four individual pot pies.
